"On arriving in Park Shore last December as a new condominium owner, I commenced a programmed search for a golf club. I initially listed all courses in a grid from Immokalee to Golden Gate, and Livingston to the gulf. Based on information available on their web sites, I short listed my search to six courses. I had lengthy discussions with the management at all six and played four. I rated the courses on course quality, practice facilities, compatibility of membership, dining and social. In the end, the decision was easy. Everything that I was looking for in a golf club was seven minutes from my Gulf Shore Blvd condominium at The Country Club of Naples. After only five weeks, 11 rounds, 2 wine tastings, the Canadian Beaver Tournament and the St. Patrick’s Day dinner, I can say unequivocally, “What a great decision.” "

"Having been private golf club members in the upstate New York region for over 40 years, Rose and I knew what we were looking for in a country club in Naples. The question was could we find a club with a course that was challenging enough for my low-handicap game and yet playable for Rose, who took up the game later in life. Although important, golf was not the only thing; we were also looking for a club with a strong tradition, a commitment to the future (as evidenced by the 2009 golf course restoration project), an understanding of value and a spirit of friendliness. Having been members now for over two years, there is no question that The Country Club of Naples was not only the right choice for us, it was the only choice".

"The most important thing for me was to be able to quickly transition from one club to another and get into groups of golfers where I could "get a game." CCN was easy in that members asked if I wanted play in various groups. In addition, the very friendly golf staff organizes year-round weekly games and is a tremendous help to new members. The location is also perfect. I live in Pelican Bay and yet get to CCN within 5 minutes or so."

"One of the important areas of our Club that I value is the consistent strong financial condition we enjoy that results from the fiscally conservative management by our past and the current Board. A good example is the $2.1 million renovation of our golf course in 2009. Through the use of reserves and a very modest capital dues program we have already paid down 50% of the project cost in one year. This project was overwhelmingly supported by our members and they love the result."

"We immediately felt welcome and comfortable at the country club. We have never experienced such a welcoming spirit at any other club that we have belonged to. All of the members are so friendly and the staff can't do enough for you. The proximity to where we live is a plus; 7 minutes if we hit the two traffic lights green."
